To help spread the message of the importance of organ donation, NIKE created Outlive Yourself socks to inspire action through a uniquely branded pair of socks and a powerful message.
The sock was created with a special organ donor in mind, 13-year-old Taylor Storch. Woven into each and every sock are threads of blue representing Taylor’s beautiful blue eyes. Five rings on the socks honor the five individual lives she saved through her gifts of life.
What does Outlive Yourself mean? It's about leaving a lasting difference in the lives of others. Organ donation can be a way to do just that!
